Who am I?

I’m Mark Kelly, a writer, communicator and YouTube creator based in Leeds.

Through The Spark!, I make videos and write about technology, devices, E Ink, Kindle, iPad, Apple gear and the digital tools we use every day. My aim is simple: to help people make sense of technology without the jargon, hype or overcomplication.

I also make The Weekly Spark, a more reflective series where I talk about technology, reading, digital habits and the way our devices shape everyday life. It gives me space to step back from straight product reviews and think a bit more broadly about what all this tech is actually doing to us.

Whether I’m writing an article, recording a video or sharing a first-hand review, I want the content to be useful, thoughtful and easy to understand.
